There are different type of skin cancer and symptoms. Basal cell carcinoma is the most common skin cancer and also the easier treated. It looks like flat, brown scar-like lesion or sometimes like a pearly bump appears on your ears, face or neck.

Squamous cell carcinoma is another type of skin cancer, easy to treat if diagnose early. It looks like some red module appears on your face, ears, neck, lips or even hands.

Melanoma is the most serious type. It also caused the most death. It can develop from a normal mole to malignant. Normally appears on the face or upper back of human.

Here are the skin cancer symptoms you can refer to:

  • A simple mole changes in size, colour or feel or that bleeds
  • A large brownish spot with darker speckles appeared on your body
  • Firm, shiny, dome-shaped bumps appeared on your body
  • An irregular red, blue or white small lesion spots on your limbs or trunk.
  • Dark lesions on your palms and toes
  • Mucous membranes lining your nose, mouth, vagina and anus

If you spotted these skin cancer symptoms, seek advice from your medical consultant immediately. Also if you are always exposed under the sun, we suggest you do a periodically check on your entire body for any suggestive moles and lesions. Notice any changes in the shape, size, color, or texture of the pigmented areas

There are many way of treatments you can do. For basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma is pretty straightforward. Normally just a surgery to remove the lesion will do. However Melanoma will require several treatments like surgery, radiation therapy, and sometimes chemotherapy.

Always remember, the chances to get cure is higher if the cancer was diagnosed in early stage. Therefore, regular check and knowing the skin cancer symptoms is a must to help you to detect the cancer early and get early treatment for higher chances to cure.
